Our tour guide will show you the best photo spots and tell you interesting information about the sights.

The most known and popular place among tourists is the “Valley of the Castles”. This is a completed ensemble of “palaces”, “towers” and ”minarets” formed by Pliocene deposits of red color, due to which this place is also called Red Canyon. The canyon has a length of about 1.5 km and a depth of 150 m.

Moon (Yellow) Canyon is less known and therefore less visited than the Valley of the Castles, but it is the same natural masterpiece. The slopes of the canyon are composed of yellow sediment, that's why it is also called Yellow canyon.

Black Canyon is the deepest among others and is formed directly by the Charyn River, which for millions of years has carved such a deep canyon in the rock. If you close to the edge of the cliff and look down, you will definitely feel your head spinning.

Day 1

• 09:00 Hotel pick-up
• Drive to Charyn Canyon "Valley of the Castles"
• Viewing spot at the top of Charyn Canyon
• Going down and walking along the bottom of the canyon
• Lunch at Charyn river bank
• Return back to the top of the canyon by shuttle-bus
• Drive to the Black Canyon
• Black Canyon, enjoying the scenery, photographing
• Drive to the Moon (Yellow) Canyon
• Moon (Yellow) Canyon, walking/hiking, photographing
• Bestamak (Small) Canyon, viewing spot
• 18:00 Arrival at the hot springs resort, accommodation, bathing in the thermal pool, dinner

Day 2

• 08:30 Breakfast
• Bathing in the thermal pool, check-out
• Lunch at the cafe in Baiseit village
• Way back to Almaty
• 17:00 Hotel drop-off
