In summer, the Assy plateau is an alpine meadow with lush green grass, which is why it is used by shepherds as a summer pasture. Therefore, here you can always see herds of sheep, cows and horses. The shepherds themselves during this period live with families in yurts (dwellings of ancient nomads), many of which you can also see on this tour.
